"Killer.Lily's Time Line" is a progress of self portraits from November-December 2021. The work illustrates not only my evolution of moods and feelings, but also my progression of technical art skills. This book was not only fun to make, but taught me a ton about myself.
reflection
The book started out as a daily practice of drawing a self portrait using selected colors from my color key, then writing briefly about what type of day I had.
Quickly, I started to realize that I could turn the sketchbook into not only a physical work, but a digital, interactive work as well
In the end, this project was an amazing opportunity to not only take time out of my day to reflect and learn, but improve my artistic skills as well. I noticed that my portrait drawing abilities really progressed and i'm truly starting to find my style.
